Many mortgage accelerators are being refered to as money merge accounts. While United First Financial has trademarked the name Money Merge Account(TM) for their proprietary system, the term Money Merge Accounts has become the industry term for acceleration programs which have a mortgage and checking account merger. Prior to the release of an actual software and coaching program creating an account the concept was refered to as mortgage cycling or in the UK offset mortgage.
